PREFERENCE DIVIDEND NO.173
Notice is hereby given that preference dividend number 173 at a rate of 6% per annum in respect of
the six months ended 31 March 2024 has been declared on Monday, 8 April 2024, to all preference
shareholders.
In accordance with paragraphs 11.17 (a) (i) to (ix) and 11.17(c) of the JSE Listings Requirements, the
following additional information is disclosed:
• the dividend has been declared out of income reserves;
• local dividend tax rate is 20% (twenty per centum);
• gross local dividend amount is 6 cents per preference share;
• net local dividend amount is 4.8 cents per preference share; and
• Barloworld has 375 000 non-redeemable preference shares of R2 each in issue.
In compliance with the requirements of Strate and the JSE Limited, the following dates are applicable:
Dividend declared Monday, 8 April 2024
Last day to trade cum dividend Tuesday, 23 April 2024
Preference shares trade ex-dividend Wednesday, 24 April 2024
Record date Friday, 26 April 2024
Payment date Monday, 29 April 2024
Share certificates may not be dematerialised or rematerialised between Wednesday, 24 April 2024
and Friday, 26 April 2024, both days inclusive.
